Clearwater Cabins are located on Lake Onalaska with waterfront out the front door. Our lodging has the best view in the La Crosse/Onalaska area. Sunsets are famous. Located away from city lights, stargazing at night around the campfire is a favorite activity. We have frequent visits to our shoreline by egrets, herons, pelicans and eagles. Sandhill cranes frequent the field across the road.
Explore the lake with free use of our canoe, kayaks, rowboat. Fishing off the dock or pull your boat on shore. Bring bikes for nearby access to Great River State Bike Trail. Hike a mile to USFWS wildlife viewing deck.

Lots to see and do in nearby Onalaska, La Crosse.

Waters Edge Studios:
4 side by side cabins with screen porch. Each with private bath and shower, AC, TV and full kitchen with microwave. All utensils and linens provided. Each has full bed, single bed and cot. Can accommodate up to 16 adults total. Cabins are smoke free. No pets allowed.

TWO BEDROOM CABINS:
Also fully furnished with 2 double beds, 2 single beds and a pull out.
Each has a private deck. Cabins are smoke free. No pets allowed.

    We are located less than 2 miles from Bike Trail areas.

    Great River Bike Trail and Halfway Creek Bike Trail.

    The trail traverses a mixture of prairie and bottom lands. There are many bridges crossing several waterways. Halfway Creek Bike trail connects to Town of Holland Hollow Bluffs trail to the North and the Great River Trail to the South.

    The Great River State Trail connects with the La Crosse River State Trail in Onalaska to provide access to over hundreds of miles of bike trails in the state of Wisconsin.

    Rates for Studios:
    $450/week
    $85/night Friday & Saturday & Holidays
    $65/night during the week
    These rates are for 1-2 people. Additional charges for additional persons.

    Rates for Two Bedroom:
    $650/week
    $100/night
    $110/weekend, holidays
    These rates are for 1-4 people. Additional charges for additional persons

    Additional $10/day charge for additional person over the base fee. Non overnight visitors must purchase a $5/day pass. Infants are free. Additional charge for power center use.

    Terms:
    Pay 1/2 within 7 days of reservation. Remainder due on arrival. Full refund if cancelled 45 days in advance (minus $10 bookkeeping fee) 50% refund if cancelled at least 14 days prior to arrival.
    2 night minimum rental.
    No Pets. No smoking in cabins.
    Check in after 2 P.M.
    Check out before 10 A.M.

    Directions:
    From I-90 take 35N, through Onalaska, turn left on CTH Z (Brice Prairie), turn left again on County Road ZB. We are 3 miles North of Onalaska and 5 miles north of La Crosse on Hwy 35 or Hwy 53.
